That connection to nature, to simplicity, to what really matters—that’s where Gray Matter Soap Co. was born.

Hi, I’m Moni and I'm the founder of Gray Matter Soap Co., and I started this company with a pretty simple mission: to create clean, earth-conscious body care for people who crave adventure and care deeply about their impact. Products that I would feel good about my child and my family using.  A brand I could believe in.  Our brand grew out of weekends spent hiking desert trails, washing up at lakefront campsites, and reading ingredient labels in frustration, wondering why it was so hard to find skincare that felt good for us and the planet.

We believe that the things you use on your body should never leave a mark on the Earth. That’s why every Gray Matter product is handcrafted with 100% plant-based ingredients, sustainable packaging, and zero shortcuts. Whether you’re packing for a backpacking trip, cleaning up after a muddy paddle, or just looking to simplify your daily routine, our products are made to go with you and support your low-impact lifestyle.

From day one, we set out to build something that wasn’t just good for your skin—it had to be good for your soul. Our values are simple:
